Shoppers can now have instant access to the latest discounts, coupons and loyalty cards available to them instantaneously anytime, anywhere via their mobile devices.
Consumers using SAMY can customize their choices to meet their preferences. They select what type of merchants, brands and/or retailers they are interested in by subscribing to one or more merchants in their local area. SAMY app consumers also filter the types of products and services by category, while at the same time view all the offers and discounts available to them in the SAMY network.
Merchants enroll in the SAMY mobile engagement and loyalty network or 'Mobile Mall' in order to connect with large numbers of interested customers. SAMY offers merchant partners the tools they need to connect and manage mobile campaigns and messaging to interested shoppers right on their mobile smartphones. President, CEO
As President, Chief Executive Officer and founder of MobileBits, Walter is responsible for driving the Company's overall global strategic business objectives including M&A and Investor Relations.
Walter brings 17 years of experience in the wireless, web and mobile applications industries; participating in both high growth and early-stage technology companies. Prior to founding MobileBits, Walter was charged with building out the carrier distribution channel for AskMeNow, one of the first human-based mobile search applications, prior, Walter held a leadership role at Expert System, a global leader in Enterprise Semantic Intelligence solutions, where he developed their mobile enterprise search strategy & business.
Previously, Walter spent six years in a senior leadership role at Research in Motion, makers of the BlackBerry.
CTO
As Chief Technical Officer, Harvard Young is responsible for overall product and platform technical strategy, innovation, strategic technical relationships and enterprise product and services. Harvard founded Pringo Inc. in 2006 with a vision to be the leading provider of enterprise social collaboration tools and platform; enabling companies to create compelling multi-tenancy deployments in many languages worldwide.
Harvard brings a wide range of skills that allow him to excel in web and mobile technologies platforms. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of California Riverside and graduated with honors.
CFO
Jim Burk is the CFO of MobileBits and brings over 30 years of digital media software, entertainment, recreation parks, multi-site locations and internet gaming experience in both public and private companies ranging in size from $65 million to $3 billion. Broad international exposure including Europe, Asia and South America. "Big Four" CPA (inactive) with proven success in developing and executing successful business strategies that improve operating effectiveness and increase profitability. Successful in mentoring and training staff into high performing teams. Prior to MobileBits Mr. Burk was the CFO of Nero AG, a leading digital media software developer and distributor. Prior, he was the CFO of YouBet.com, Palace Entertainment, United Cinemas International and held various finance and operating positions with NBC/Universal Studios. He also worked for Price Waterhouse.
CRO
Dan Miller is a well-known speaker and expert on using technology and people to make companies more efficient and competitive. He has helped scores of entrepreneurs to start-up, organize, systemize, and grow their businesses. With his diverse background as an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor, Dan applies his unique insights to MobileBits' business to help drive customer adoption, solutions and revenues.
In addition to his role as Chief Revenue Officer of MobileBits, Dan Miller serves on the Boards of Pongo, Real Digital Media, SEOEngine and Abbetton Accelerator Fund.
COO
As Chief Operating Officer, Andrew is responsible for research and development, products, global sales and supply chain. Andrew brings 20 years experience in corporate operations and project management in the IT industry. Prior to joing MobileBits Andrew was the CEO of Aixum Tec AG overseeing all aspects of corporate and business development, R&D, product development, investor relations and international growth startegies since October 2009.
Prior to 2009 Andrew held senior roles at Examino AG, ConVision AG and Construction Data Group where he was responoisble for IT projects, services and business process management projects for customers such as Credit Suisse, Swisscom Telecommunications, Roche Pharmacuticals and Hewlett Packard IPG.
Mr. Marshall holds a MBA from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland.
